Breaking the Cycle You Keep Repeating Together

Most couples don't get stuck because they've stopped caring. They get stuck in patterns, the same argument, the same distance, the same cycle that repeats no matter how hard you both try.

My Approach

Working with what's underneath the conflict

My work with couples is relational, attachment-based, and experiential. Rather than focusing only on communication techniques, we work with the emotional patterns underneath the conflict, as they happen in the room. That's where real change tends to begin. Common areas of focus include intimacy and emotional connection, recurring conflict cycles, unresolved resentment, trust rupture and repair, communication breakdowns, and the reactivity-and-withdrawal dynamic.

Working through resentment is a process. First we really see what isn't working, honestly and without blame. From there, the two of you build something new together, new commitments and new agreements that are more positive and more helpful for the relationship you actually want.

This work can also help an individual who keeps finding themselves in the same relationship pattern across different partners.
